Sand Saves: Definition

A sand save is defined as any time you get up and down from a bunker less than 50 yards from a green.

Example:  John hits his 2nd shot into a greenside bunker and hits his bunker shot onto the green and one putts.
- It does not matter what score you get, or if your bunker shot doesn't make the green and you chip your next shot in.  Also, if you hit your first bunker shot into another bunker and then get up and down from the 2nd bunker then this wouldn't be considered a sand save as this stats comes primarily from the first instance where you are in a greenside bunker.
