Playing 2 balls during a round

Question:  I often play an early-morning nine-hole round at my local course, but I play two balls, scoring them separately and tagging the shots for only one ball. This last weekend I did this and there were a lot of extraneous shots showing up in my round. After looking at the data I figured out that the system was showing non-tagged shots that I took playing the other ball. How does that happen?

Answer:  We've added shot detection to the GAME GOLF platform, so playing two balls will show the extra shots you took while not tagging. To disable shot detection click on the "Enable shot detection" check box while editing your round which will do away with any shot that wasn't tagged during your round. Here's an article showing exactly how to disable shot detection.
